“The details are not the details. They make the design.”
This experimental book follows the lives of two of the most influential designers of the 20th century, Ray & Charles Eames. The design and construction of the book was meant to be playful and innovative, yet functional – a tribute to the qualities found in their body of work. The book is not only a sculptural piece and a toy but it’s also a great resource of information. The mid–century modern aesthetic is prevalent throughout the book’s design even down to it’s plastic spine.
